Where are the maintenance classes?

Our yearly maintenance classes involve close-up demonstrations and one-on-one attention—usually a great thing!. To protect our customers, staff, and community, we’ve made the decision to cancel this year's classes. Don't worry: they’ll return next year once we can offer the full experience.

Be sure to check back often! We're always finding new excuses to get together for a ride.

OUR REGULAR EVENTS

Trainer Saturdays

Stop by to learn more about how to choose and use a trainer, how to integrate trainers with apps like Zwift and Peloton, and how smart technology can improve your workout. One of our trainer specialists, Bill and Larry, will be on hand to go over all the basics and answer any questions you have about indoor riding.

Thursday Road Rides

Want to explore the Towpath and connect with new riders? Join us at the Massillon shop for our weekly road ride, held from March 18-Nov. 4! The route varies from week to week but is always scenic, with mileage usually between 20-30 miles. Riders of all ability levels are welcome.

Helmet required. Drinking water and flat repair kit strongly recommended.

Thursday Mountain Rides

Various locations | 5:30PM

Held every other Thursday between July 1-Sept. 7, these beginner-friendly rides alternate between Quail Hollow and Camp Tuscazoar. Open to riders of all abilities. You will need a helmet and a mountain bike with suspension fork and wide range of gearing.

Riders meet at that week's ride location. Carpooling is discouraged to prevent the spread of the Covid 19 virus. Watch Facebook for possible closings due to trail conditions.

Pedaling for Pints

Every other Thursday from May-Oct., join us for a ride on the Hoover Trail, then reward yourself with a beer or iced coffee at Shale Brewing's Whipple location. This is an easy-paced out-and-back ride of 8-12 miles. Some riders may choose to turn around sooner. Riders of all ability levels are welcome.

Helmet required. Drinking water and flat repair kit strongly recommended.

Night Rides

Massillon shop | Sundown

Join us to see the Towpath in a whole new light (or lack thereof) on this monthly ride, held June-Oct.! Beginning at the Lake Avenue Trailhead, you'll ride either north to Canal Fulton or south to Navarre and back. For both routes, the ride is 16 miles round-trip and open to riders of all ability levels. Ernie's staff will take the front and rear.

Helmet, headlight, and taillight are required!

Moonlight Canoe

Check out the Tusc by the light of the moon, enjoy the tranquility of an evening on the water, and top it all off with a campfire afterward! (Sorry, no food provided in 2021 due to COVID-19 safety protocol.)

For canoes and kayaks alike, the 3-mile trip is $20/person and the 6-mile trip is $25/person. If the weather looks great, get here early: we've sold out in the past!
